Cherokee Street Thanksgiving is a magical tradition, which has grown from a potluck of 40, to a massive holiday celebration of 400 members of the business community and surrounding neighborhoods. The event is made possible by volunteers peeling potatos, cooking turkeys, & contributing food, drink or funds.
Volunteers are needed to help decorate the space, prep sides, cook turkeys, set-up, serve food, bartend, keep the space clean during the event and clean up the next monrning
Individuals that attneded the event are encouraged to bring a side dish or drink to share. No advanced notice required.
Restaurants or businesses that would like to contribute a dish or drink to the event can get in touch with Sara below.
Individuals or businesses that would like to donate financially to support the supplies, entertainment and needs of Cherokee Street Thanksgiving can make a donation to Cherokee Street Foundation at the link below.
At the event, tips and donations will be collected to benefit ARJ Community Outreach. ARJ is located on Cherokee Street and serves the residents of Gravois Park and Benton Park West through food drives, holiday toy drives, and much more.
