Major events and festivals within the boundaries of the Cherokee Street CID are organized by the Cherokee Street Foundation — the street's nonprofit organization. CSF's mission is to bring Cherokee Street to life by hosting authentic and unforgettable festivals & events.

Brewed Arts FEstival
Saturday Oct 3, 1pm - 5pm
Brewed Arts Festival fills one mile of Cherokee Street with good brews & good art, with 20+ tastings of unique beer and other beverages (including n/a) made right here in the St. Louis region.
Cherokee Street Jazz Crawl
Brewed Arts Festival fills one mile of Cherokee Street with good beer & good art, with tastings of 20+ unique brews curated by Saint Louis Hop Shop and music and live art curated by the street's Screwed Arts Collective.

Cherokee Trick OR Treat
Trick or Treat on Cherokee St.
On Halloween night, who knows who's who on Cherokee Street. Trick or Treaters can pick up candy at the businesses on the street and enjoy hot cider and a bonfire at Love Bank Park.

Jazz Crawl

Cherokee Thanksgiving
Tuesday November 24
This annual tradition has grown from a small potluck of 40, to a massive free community potluck where hundreds of members of the Cherokee Street community are invited to come together to eat, drink and celebrate.

Print Bazaar
Saturday December 5
The Print Bazaar, which takes place on the first Saturday in December, showcases over 100 print artists in the storefronts, bars and galleries on Cherokee Street, making it one of the region's largest holiday markets.

Brass Band Blowout
Cherokee Street's Brass Band Blowout kicks off Mardi Gras season with a one-night showcase of St. Louis's best brass bands. Come down early for the Mardi Gras Music Crawl from 4p.m. - 6p.m. for free live music at the vibrant bars & venues along Cherokee Street. Follow instagram.com/cherokeestreet for more details!

Cinco de Mayo
While Cherokee Street took a step back from the large-scale Cinco de Mayo festival in 2026, we hope to bring the celebration back in some form in 2027. The first priority in planning Cinco 2027 is to make sure that we put our businesses and community first. Check back in 2027 for new updates.
